Fluffy needle / pin cushion finished

This week I was working on the sheepy needle / pin cushion I’m going to give my mother in law for her birthday.
I was able to finish it last night. Turned out really ok!

I originally saw this image on Pinterest:

schaapSince I have a sheep pattern in one of my newer amigurumi books, I decided to try and make my own version of it. By the way, you can look at the original link (with pattern) on my pinterest page  about crochet related goodies (link below).

I found the pattern for the flowers through daisy cottage designs. They are quick to make and I love the result! For the bigger flower I used the triple crochet as she suggests, the slightly smaller flowers I made with just a double crochet.

I’m taking a small break from crochet now, since I have tons of other things that need to be done urgently. Think it’ll be a week or so untill I get around to it again. Ouch!

A little edit 5/06 – I see that the pictures I took last night with my smartphone are rather pinkish. Should learn not to photograph in artifical light anymore 🙂 But I’m always soooo excited when I finish something. You get the drift!

Anyway, this is a far better picture, without the needles 😉
