I saw the most lovely pin a while ago and wanted to make a vase like that… At breakfast we always drink fruit juice and the smoothie bottle from Albert Heijn seemed perfect. There was no pattern and I decided to use single crochets, unlike the doubles I think were used in the original one.
In the beginning I had to try it on after every row, because it had to fit perfectly. I used Catania yarn, which is 100% cotton and doesn’t stretch that much, so I had to be sure. After a while the bottle stopped bending and I could crochet rows while watching TV, very relaxed 🙂
I finished the vase this morning. I wanted to send it to the shop, but it looks so nice in my hall…. Think I’m keeping this one and will make a new one for the shop 😉
