Magic wands

Sometimes a quick project can be a lot of fun. Last summer I decided to work up some magic wands. I simply used this free star pattern, and a wooden large skewer.

Work up the star in whatever yarn you have a bit left over from. Make two stars of the same colour. Sew them together, and before closing up the last leg, glue the skewer in between the two pieces. Attach a clothespeg to make sure you put enough pressure on it to dry out.

When completely dry, add some colourfull ribbons of yarn to the end of the star. Magic is about to happen! Maybe you’ve still got time to work up some before Christmas?
