Heart hairpins

Another quick and fun project, especially if you have a little girl around the house: heart hairpins.

You need fabric glue, some leftover yarn (preferably thin cotton yarn, you don’t want the hearts to get too bulky) and some hairpins – which you can buy rather cheap in a lot of stores.

You crochet some hearts (two in matching colours – use this free pattern as a guideline), and glue them onto the hairpins with fabric glue. As always it’s important to put a clothes peg on it and let it dry out for at least 24 hours, to make sure the hearts are attached firmly.

The same hearts make great keychains as well by the way… 😉
