Easter bunny eggwarmer

I’ve been having fun with my little webshop, selling items for a local cat shelter. Ofcourse I decided to make a few things for easter coming up. I crocheted a bunch of chicken eggwarmers – that sold out in a blink of an eye. They are based on a free (Dutch) crochet pattern by Cute Dutch (that you can download here).

Yesterday afternoon, in between finishing the last chickens, I decided to design a cosy easter bunny eggwarmer.

I’m more than happy to share the pattern for you to try out at home.

Use thick yarn and a 7mm crochet hook.

Crochet a magic circle with 6 sc’s in the circle.
Crochet 2 sc’s in each sc (12 sc in total).
Crochet 1 sc in the first sc, 2 sc in the next all the way around (18 sc in total).
Crochet 18 sc.

Finish of.

For the ears, make 2:

Crochet a magic circle with 6 sc’s in the circle.
Crochet 1 sc in the first sc, 2 sc in the next all the way around (9 sc in total).
Crochet 9 sc.
Crochet 9 sc.
Crochet 1 sc in the first sc, crochet 2sc’s together all the way around (6 sc in total).
Crochet 6 sc.
Finish off, leaving a long tail for sewing.

Sew the ears on top of the bunny head.
Cut two small circles out of some scrap fabric.
Sew them onto your bunny ears.

All done! Enjoy your Easter! If you decide to make this, please share a picture with my on Facebook or Instagram – I would love to see your creations !
